About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship for students interested in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI and Machine Learning. You will work 40 hours per week alongside experienced IT professionals to apply your classroom knowledge to real business challenges. This is a paid, full-time position that requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Partner with data professionals on projects that influence business decisions.
- Explore technologies used in data engineering, cloud computing, and machine learning.
- Learn how the organization collects, manages, and transforms data to create value.
- Gain exposure to modern cloud platforms, data pipelines, and AI-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver results.
- Present your project findings and recommendations to company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Coursework, academic projects, or experience with Python, SQL, cloud computing (AWS or Azure), or machine learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in either Kansas City, Missouri, or Southlake, Texas.
- The program runs from June 2, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
