About the role#
American Century Investments is looking for an Investment Analyst Summer Associate to join our team for a 12-week program. You will rotate through various strategies within our Global Non-US Equity teams in New York. The role provides direct access to portfolio management teams and requires you to provide fundamental research support to help drive client outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Research and build models for common stocks, including both current holdings and potential new investments.
- Recommend purchases and sales based on your findings.
- Review company financial documents, third-party reports, and conduct interviews with company management.
- Analyze specific industry groups and investment themes as requested by portfolio managers.
- Prepare analytical data for weekly equity investment meetings.
- Participate in company presentations and weekly equity investment meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are a first-year MBA student, ideally with a finance concentration, or possess an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- You are curious, self-starting, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- You can identify priorities, plan, and follow through on assignments.
- You communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats.
- You are flexible, logical, and comfortable covering multiple sectors.

- You are willing to learn and implement our specific investment process.
