About the role#
Heitman is seeking rising Seniors for a Summer 2027 internship within our Financial Operations and Analysis department. This role offers exposure to investor reporting and analysis, providing a foundation for a career in real estate. You will work on-site in our Chicago office five days a week.
What you'll do#
- Analyze asset financials and determine cash distributions.
- Review budget variances and conduct property valuations.
- Calculate performance returns.
- Participate in an immersive onboarding and training program.
- Interact with senior executives and collaborate with employees across departments and regions.
- Work on a wide range of live projects.
- Collaborate with your cohort on a capstone project with real world application.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Senior at a US based college or university.
- You are working towards a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Experience solving problems using analytical and critical thinking.
- A mindset that looks for creative solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You enjoy working with others across multiple departments.
