About the role#
Heitman is seeking rising seniors for the 2027 Summer Internship Program within our Acquisitions department. This role provides exposure to real estate investment management and investor reporting. You will work on live projects and participate in an immersive training program while collaborating with teams across the firm.
What you'll do#
- Prepare pro forma cash flow projections for potential investment opportunities.
- Create deal summaries and coordinate due diligence processes.
- Work on a variety of live projects alongside experienced team members.
- Participate in an onboarding and training program.
- Collaborate with your cohort on a capstone project with real world application.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising senior at a US based college or university.
- Progress toward a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Experience solving problems using analytical and critical thinking.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with others.
- A creative approach to brainstorming solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship at $25 per hour.
