About the role#
Join the investment team as an intern to gain hands-on experience in specialized areas such as Exchange-Traded Funds, Structured Solutions, Alternative Investments, Core Active Investments, or Client Portfolio Management. You will work alongside portfolio managers and researchers to contribute to the development and execution of data-driven investment strategies.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recurring and ad hoc reporting for the investment team.
- Build, update, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data files.
- Prepare charts, tables, and summaries to communicate insights.
- Review reports for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Improve the structure and usability of existing reporting processes.
- Gather, organize, and summarize data from internal and external sources.
- Prepare investment research summaries, briefing notes, and materials.
- Support ad hoc analysis regarding market trends, product themes, competitor activity, or portfolio positioning.
- Develop and enhance Excel-based tools, templates, and macros.
- Support the development of practical workflow improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong interest in investments, financial markets, and asset management.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A curious and proactive mindset with a comfort for asking thoughtful questions.
