About the role#
Bernstein Private Wealth Management provides investment services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. As a Private Wealth Summer Intern, you will work with Financial Advisors and their teams to support the growth of the Private Wealth Management platform. This role involves assisting with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning for clients and their families.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Financial Advisors to provide service and support functions.
- Perform portfolio analysis and handle account creation and maintenance.
- Prepare for client and prospect meetings.
- Complete ad-hoc business projects.
- Participate in training focused on client service excellence, partnership, and communication.
- Engage in career management, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Attend networking opportunities and social outings.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Strong leadership experience, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
- Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
- Client-focused mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel is preferred.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status.
- Relevant internship experience and coursework in finance or economics are preferred.
- Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification is preferred.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check.
