About the role#
As a Software Development Summer Intern, you will join our Technology and Operations business unit. You will work on projects that support our investment management, sales, marketing, and distribution systems. This role offers hands-on learning supported by team members, project managers, and formal technology training. You will contribute to our use of technology and research capabilities while gaining experience in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Implement functional and technical specifications provided by business analysts and development managers.
- Learn the functional and technical aspects of applications, including the languages and frameworks used for construction.
- Enhance investment management systems used for decision-making and execution.
- Improve sales, marketing, and distribution systems.
- Automate operational processes to reduce risk and maximize efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidates graduating between December 2026 and May/June 2027.
- Major in computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, business, or liberal arts.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status, with the ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Strong computer programming skills and an interest in working with various technologies.
- Interest in project management, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to pass a thorough background check.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Note: Interns may not take academic classes or hold other employment during the internship.
