About the role#
Bernstein Private Wealth Management advises high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. As a Private Wealth Summer Intern, you will support Financial Advisors and their teams to grow our platform. You will assist with asset allocation recommendations, capital markets positioning, portfolio analytics, and wealth and legacy planning. This is a paid, full-time program designed to provide experience in the financial services industry.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Financial Advisors to provide service and support.
- Perform portfolio analysis and manage account creation and maintenance.
- Prepare for client and prospect meetings.
- Complete ad-hoc business projects.
- Participate in career management, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching.
- Engage in networking opportunities and social outings.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work as a team player.
- Client-focused mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel is preferred.
- Relevant internship experience and coursework in finance or economics are preferred.
- Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification is a valuable asset.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.

- Location: Houston, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Full-time from June to August.
- Note: You must be available to work full-time during the internship period without conflicting academic classes or other employment.
