About the role#
The Oracle Application Developer Intern supports the development and enhancement of Oracle-based applications. You will create technical solutions, assist with coding, testing, debugging, and system integrations, and collaborate with team members on application improvements. This role provides hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, database technologies, technical documentation, code reviews, and enterprise system support.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs.
- Write technical specifications, unit test plans, and installation plans for new systems or enhancements.
- Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing, and debugging.
- Coordinate with team members to build solutions and perform code reviews.
- Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related tools.
- Create file and database structures, as well as interfaces between internal and external systems.
- Provide third-tier user support during installation and end-user training.
- Design forms, reports, data collection, processing, and control procedures for assigned systems.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Systems Management.
- At least one semester remaining upon the start of the internship.
- Ability to use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to support daily work.
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development, knowledge of prompting techniques, and awareness of GenAI capabilities are preferred.

- Location: Irving, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (11 weeks from May 26, 2027, to August 6, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (2 days a week in office).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
