About the role#
The Corporate Communications Intern supports internal and external communication initiatives. You will contribute to organizational goals and employee engagement through various media channels. This 11-week program offers professional work experience, networking opportunities, and career development.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit content for social media, company intranet articles, emails, and video scripts.
- Craft original content specifically for Viva Engage.
- Conduct research and interview internal stakeholders.
- Develop messaging that aligns with company objectives.
- Participate in independent and team projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Journalism, Communications, Writing, PR, or a related field.
- At least one semester of school remaining when the internship begins.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot for research, summarization, and content generation.
- Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, ethics, and data protection.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently or within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 26 to August 6).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (two days per week in the office).
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
