About the role#
This full-time summer internship offers students the chance to work on cybersecurity initiatives focused on protecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data. You will gain exposure to industry projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and build your technical and business skills. The program runs for 11 weeks from May 26 to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside industry leaders on meaningful projects.
- Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
- Present findings and communicate technical concepts to business leaders.
- Manage relationships with internal and external clients.
- Use AI tools to support daily tasks, including research, summarization, and content generation.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Integrate AI into workflows to improve efficiency and insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree or higher program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Basic knowledge of Information Security frameworks, concepts, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts using non-technical language.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to build consensus.

- Location: Arlington, Texas.
- Modality: Hybrid, with two days per week in the office.
- Compensation: Paid position.
