About the role#
The US Retail Sales Desk Intern program offers an introduction to the lifecycle of an investment product. You will gain exposure to the U.S. retail distribution channel, from initial idea generation to product distribution and client service. This role involves working with the Strategic Sales & Service department to support the firm’s mutual funds and separately managed account products.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the firm’s mission, values, and product offerings in the U.S. retail market.
- Participate in formal instruction and on-the-job training covering capital markets, firm procedures, and consultative selling skills.
- Collaborate with internal and external wholesalers to improve team processes.
- Conduct competitive analysis to generate data for clients to monitor and adjust their investments.
- Assist the team in managing territories and staying organized.
- Interpret data sets to help execute sales campaigns.
- Participate in firm-wide onboarding, mentoring programs, and sessions with senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Bachelor’s degree candidate graduating in Spring 2027 in business, finance, economics, data science, math, liberal arts, or a similar program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professionalism, motivation, and initiative.
- Interest in learning about retail investment management and capital markets.
- Interest in completing the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licensing exams.
