About the role#
As an AI/Platform Analyst, you will support cloud and infrastructure activities across various platforms and operating systems. This role is part of our campus program, designed to integrate you into the team and provide hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level systems. You will work on hybrid cloud projects, assist with application transformations, and contribute to the reliability and security of our infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Provision, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Install and manage firewalls to ensure network security.
- Plan and manage hybrid cloud projects and develop service catalogue offerings.
- Provide architecture and engineering expertise for IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Build and operate DevOps infrastructure, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Implement automation to improve operational efficiency, security, and cost management.
- Establish governance and enforce quality standards for cloud architectures.
- Advise development teams on on-premise infrastructure and cloud migration strategies.
- Deploy and debug code for cloud initiatives.
- Oversee monitoring and site reliability engineering (SRE) solutions.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups.
- Procure network equipment such as routers and switches.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program with an intent to return to studies.
- Foundational proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to AI concepts and applications.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security, governance, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), configuration management, and source control.
- Ability to work with database management and application lifecycle automation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity for collaboration and building professional relationships.
- Adaptability and a systems-thinking mindset.
- Understanding of security and audit compliance requirements.
