About the role#
This four-month co-op position offers students a business-relevant project where they will manage an area of responsibility with support from a supervisor and technical mentor. The role is based in Calgary and begins in September 2026. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related program, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and intend to complete at least one more semester of education following the internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the National Supply Chain team to support Master Data Management and coordinate data validation between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research related to purchasing and subcontract administration to inform proposal content.
- Assist in the development of templates and standard content to streamline purchasing processes.
- Compile and analyze spend data, vendor utilization, and external market data for category management and strategic sourcing.
- Coordinate the vendor review process and ensure timely feedback from stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain documentation on internal sites and assist in recording and tracking meeting action items.
- Partner with the National Fleet Management team to support fleet and fuel management programs, including documenting processes, procedures, and training materials.
- Participate in meetings with internal team members and external vendors regarding fleet initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
- Commitment to achieving goals and the ability to operate in an environment where change occurs frequently.
- Proficiency with Canva.
- A current transcript must be included with your application.
