About the role#
As a Relationship Manager Intern, you will manage a portfolio of small business clients. You act as an ambassador for RBC in the local business market. You will provide financial advice to help clients start, manage, and grow their enterprises. You will work alongside other advisors and specialists to deliver a high-quality client experience.
What you'll do#
- Acquire, grow, and deepen client relationships by providing tailored financial advice.
- Proactively contact clients to gather insights and understand their changing needs.
- Plan and prioritize market activities to find new opportunities.
- Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures.
- Visit clients on-site to gain a practical understanding of their business objectives.
- Champion digital enablement by advocating for RBC mobile and online applications.
What you'll need#
- Skills in business development, client acquisition, and prospecting.
- A proven track record in client relationship management.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.

- This role is based in Calgary, Alberta.
- The position is on-site and requires mobility within the city.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
