Project Administrator, Co-op

About the role#

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator for a full-time, paid co-op position. This role supports the project team in a construction environment, focusing on administrative coordination, project documentation, and site support.

What you'll do#

• Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies and procedures.
• Track and report site personnel attendance, board allowances, and vehicle allowances.
• Assist with invoice processing, routing for approvals, and project billing preparation.
• Establish accounts with local suppliers and coordinate material requirements.
• Prepare job packages, including permits, locates, and necessary documentation.
• Maintain organized filing systems, project records, and perform data entry.
• Assist with incident and accident reporting.
• Welcome and direct site visitors.
• Travel to project sites as required to support team operations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, handle confidential information with discretion, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in construction, utilities, or project coordination.
• Experience with SAP is considered an asset.

• Location: Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026 (8 months, September 2026 – May 2027).
