About the role#
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Project Administrator for a full-time, paid co-op position. This role supports the project team in a construction environment, focusing on administrative coordination, project documentation, and site support.
What you'll do#
- Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies and procedures.
- Track and report site personnel attendance, board allowances, and vehicle allowances.
- Assist with invoice processing, routing for approvals, and project billing preparation.
- Establish accounts with local suppliers and coordinate material requirements.
- Prepare job packages, including permits, locates, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized filing systems, project records, and perform data entry.
- Assist with incident and accident reporting.
- Welcome and direct site visitors.
- Travel to project sites as required to support team operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, handle confidential information with discretion, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in construction, utilities, or project coordination.
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
