About the role#
As a Data Analyst for the Fleet Operations team, you will help define how we measure and improve our vehicle readiness, fleet response, and base operations. You will translate complex operational workflows into trusted metrics, scalable data models, and clear dashboards. Your work provides leaders with visibility into operational performance and helps teams identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and scalability.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Operations leaders to define meaningful performance metrics and reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain data models, dashboards, and recurring reporting using SQL, Databricks, and Python.
- Analyze operational performance to identify trends and root causes.
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Establish data-quality checks and investigate reporting gaps.
- Use AI to accelerate data exploration, code development, and insight generation.
- Prototype AI-enabled workflows that detect anomalies and automate business-review preparation.
- Support weekly business reviews by developing clear performance narratives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing complex datasets.
- Experience building dashboards or data visualizations using platforms like Databricks or Tableau.
- Ability to explain insights to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach and comfort working in a professional environment.
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary company information.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Foster City, California.
- You must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- This is a rolling contract assignment with a minimum duration of three months.
- This position is paid.
