About the role#
This contract position supports the Vehicle Engineering Dashboard project. You will work directly with teams to build and refine tools that track key performance indicators. This is an ongoing role designed to complement your academic studies with hands-on work in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Build flexible dashboards that support multiple KPI elements.
- Interview managers to identify which metrics they need to track.
- Perform gap analysis with the internal data team to find existing platforms and data sources.
- Create plans to collect data for items not currently covered.
- Work with IT to push dashboards to specific users and public screens.
- Document your processes, findings, and future plans.
- Continuously improve dashboards as new KPIs emerge.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- A background in information design or UI/UX is preferred.
- Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of three months.
- Capability to work on-site at our office.
- Commitment to maintaining company confidentiality.
- Prior experience in information design, UI/UX, autonomy, or automotive fields is a plus.
