About the role#
Young Life is hiring Student Staff for the Pittsburgh East area. This role focuses on ministry, leadership development, and resource management. You will work under the supervision of an area director to grow in spiritual maturity and gain competency in ministry skills. This is a paid, full-time position that requires a commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Participate on a team to implement a summer and school-season camping strategy.
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism.
- Engage in contact work, club, and discipleship ministry.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a college degree in a field such as Psychology, Philosophy, Communications, Human Resources, Sociology, Political Science, Business Administration, or Public Health.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and ministry policies.

- Salary: $6,120 to $8,520, depending on education, experience, and location.
