About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff I in Battle Ground, Washington. This part-time, on-site role focuses on spiritual development, leadership training, and direct ministry engagement. You will work under the supervision of an area director to gain experience in ministry skills while pursuing your college degree.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Engage in active church community participation and lead others in their spiritual development.
- Recruit and train new volunteer leaders while modeling excellence in club, Campaigners, and camping.
- Maintain regular contact with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support and communicate ministry updates to your donor partners.
- Actively participate in contact work and implement camping strategies for the school season and summer.
- Handle administrative tasks, including expense reports and office support, while following organization policies.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree.
- Strong relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A profession of belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- Agreement to subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and all organizational policies.

- Compensation: $17.13 to $20.83 per hour, depending on experience and education.
