About the role#
This Student Staff position is a full-time role based in Columbia, South Carolina. The position involves a mix of spiritual development, leadership training, and administrative support. It is a paid role that requires a commitment to the mission of Young Life, including the signing of a Statement of Faith.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain a yearly personal growth plan to foster spiritual maturity.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain communication with donor partners.
- Assist with office administration, data management, and expense reporting as necessary.
- Collaborate with area leadership to recruit and train volunteers.
- Engage in contact work and support camping strategies for the ministry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with preference for majors such as Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, or Philosophy.
- Proven relational skills when working with both adolescents and adults.
- Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith and willingness to minister as a servant of God.

- Salary: $5,096 to $6,500.
