About the role#
Child and Family Focus offers internship opportunities for students interested in the mental health and behavioral health fields. We work with your university to meet your specific internship or practicum requirements. This is an unpaid, on-site role that requires you to be enrolled in a bachelor's level program and receiving course credit. We serve children, adolescents, and transitional aged adults through office and community-based services.
What you'll do#
You will help our staff and facilitators deliver programs in the community. Your work will include:
- Promoting prevention programs through marketing efforts.
- Supporting program staff during daily operations.
- Representing the agency at health fairs and community events.
- Traveling to various community locations to assist with program facilitation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university bachelor's level program.
- Ability to obtain internship course credit.
- A valid driver's license.
- Current child abuse, criminal, and FBI clearances.
Location & details#
This internship is located in Hatboro and Broomall, Pennsylvania. It is an on-site position. We accept applications on a rolling basis for the 2026/2027 term.
