About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member in San Diego. This role focuses on ministry, leadership development, and spiritual growth. You will work directly with students and volunteers to support the mission of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Create a yearly personal growth plan to support your spiritual life.
- Lead individuals and teams in their own spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and manage donor care.
- Work with your team to plan and carry out camping strategies for both summer and the school year.
- Follow all Young Life policies, procedures, and professional standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree. Relevant majors include Psychology, Political Science, Communications, Human Resources, or Nursing.
- Proven ability to build relationships with kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality in all ministry matters.
- A commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and the ability to serve as a Christian minister.
