About the role#
This is an unpaid internship opportunity for students seeking to gain experience in a non-profit environment. You will work across departments such as Development, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance, or Information Technology. This role is full-time and requires you to be enrolled in a degree program that provides academic credit for your work.
What you'll do#
- Perform data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
- Attend departmental and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Create and deliver data-driven solutions for staff and project teams.
- Conduct surveys and assist with data collection.
- Provide administrative and research support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Finance, Computer Science, or Human Resources.
- Ability to earn academic credit for this internship.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift over 15 pounds.

- Locations: Middletown, NY and Mount Vernon, NY.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
