About the role#
The Service Policy Intern supports the Service Policy team in ensuring consistent interpretation and application of tariff rules, electric standards, and regulatory requirements. You will gain exposure to utility operations, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives. Working alongside Service Policy Analysts, you will assist with policy administration, data analysis, and documentation management. This role focuses on driving efficiency through technology and automation.
What you'll do#
- Research and document tariff rules, administrative instructions, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Organize Service Policy resources, including SharePoint content, forms, and process documentation.
- Participate in process improvement efforts, such as workflow documentation and automation projects.
- Assist Service Policy Analysts with customer project reviews and exception tracking.
- Develop training materials, presentations, and communications for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory teams to gather information and support business goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, or Supply Chain Management.
- Status as a Freshman or higher.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Ability to commute in-person to the designated work location.

- Compensation: Paid position ($15.60 to $19.50 per hour).
