About the role#
The Mass Market Energy Efficiency team is looking for an intern to drive program and process improvement through AI and analytics. You will help customers manage their energy usage and improve home efficiency. This paid internship begins May 24, 2027, and may extend based on performance and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Lead AI process improvement projects.
- Analyze historical program data to find trends, model likely participants, and derive insights for strategic decisions.
- Manage a process documentation project to capture all standard operating procedures for the team.
- Support user testing, quality control, and data tracking improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current student, Sophomore or higher, enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, STEM, Data Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours a week) during the summer or part-time (up to 20 hours a week) during the school year.
- At least one prior internship or job experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, Business Objects, and Copilot is preferred.

- Locations: Minneapolis, Minnesota and Denver, Colorado.
- Modality: Hybrid, with in-person commuting required.
- Employment: Full-time availability during the summer term.
- Compensation: $18.90 to $27.90 per hour.
