About the role#
The Strategic Planning & Business Analytics Intern supports the department by managing data, reporting, and project tasks. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Jefferson, Georgia. You will work closely with the Business Intelligence and Strategic Planning analysts to improve internal processes and resources.
What you'll do#
- Organize, update, and generate weekly and monthly reports.
- Help the Business Intelligence Analyst gather data and update corporate dashboards.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Planning Analyst to develop and update strategic planning resources.
- Create communication articles and presentations.
- Assist internal customers and participate in special projects.
- Follow safety practices, attend training, and participate in the annual meeting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited school pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering (computer, electrical, or mechanical), accounting, or finance.
- A solid working knowledge of computer systems and software.
- Interest in data analytics, visualization, technical communication, or project management.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, benchmarking, metrics, and process improvement techniques.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, plus the ability to solve problems and work in a team.
- Ability to handle data entry, report generation, and proofing tasks.
