About the role#
Badger Meter is seeking a Sales Enablement & Business Analytics Intern to support initiatives that strengthen sales effectiveness and improve business processes. This role provides cross-functional exposure to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Proposals. You will work on projects that help the organization make data-driven decisions while developing your skills in business analysis and strategy.
What you'll do#
- Support Sales Enablement initiatives to improve the efficiency of sales teams.
- Gather, organize, and analyze business and competitive information.
- Develop and maintain databases for FOIA information and business intelligence.
- Conduct competitive analysis and organize findings into resources for internal teams.
- Identify and document opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Help evaluate business opportunities using data, research, and analytical techniques.
- Assist with developing business cases and recommendations for process changes.
- Research market, customer, industry, and competitive trends.
- Organize and present information in a clear format for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions.
- Assist with reporting, presentations, and other sales enablement materials.
- Document processes, findings, and project outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA or a Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research, organize, and interpret business information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Comfort researching unfamiliar topics and asking questions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, marketing, business strategy, or operations.
