About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the Corporate Risk & Broking Construction team. You will work on client projects related to Professional & Pollution Liability, gaining exposure to the full insurance renewal cycle. This is a part-time position, offering up to 15 hours per week of real-world experience in the commercial insurance sector.
What you'll do#
- Conduct coverage analysis and review insurance contracts to support client advisory work.
- Research market trends and develop client-ready insights and materials.
- Support the renewal lifecycle, including quoting, proposal development, binding, and policy issuance.
- Perform claims scenario analysis and prepare related reporting.
- Use the Broking Platform, Excel, and other analytical tools to support daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, risk management, actuarial science, or a related quantitative field.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Prior internship or work experience in a professional setting that demonstrates analytical, technical, or client service capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22 - $28 per hour.
- Eligibility: You must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Sponsorship is not offered for this position.
