About the role#
As an actuarial consulting intern at WTW, you will support our Retirement team in helping organizations manage employee pension plans. You will work on various registered and unregistered defined benefit and defined contribution plans. This role involves applying technical and communication skills to help our clients design, fund, and govern their retirement programs.
What you'll do#
- Perform actuarial calculations and analysis for retirement projects.
- Participate in daily team meetings to coordinate tasks and share updates.
- Create client presentations and assist in preparing for client meetings.
- Engage in learning and development through training sessions and mentorship programs.
- Build professional connections with colleagues through optional social activities.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, public health, or economics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Interest in or progress toward actuarial credentials such as ACIA, FCIA, ASA, or FSA.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
