About the role#
As an Imaging Intern at YH Radiology, you will perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a Certified Radiographer. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to maintain high standards for quality examinations while adhering to the regulations of the Joint Review Commission. You will work under indirect supervision to ensure professional and ethical standards are met regarding patient care and data privacy.
What you'll do#
- Transfer and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Provide immobilization devices as necessary to ensure patient safety and image quality.
- Select appropriate technical factors based on individual patient needs.
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform other related duties as identified by the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited certificate program for radiologic technology.
- Documented satisfactory completion of all clinical competency requirements within your program.
- Ability to support organizational standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
- Commitment to safeguarding patient and operational information.
Location & details#
- Location: York, Pennsylvania.
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per pay period, with rotating day, evening, and night shifts.
- Term: Rolling.
