About the role#
As a member of the Wellington Trust team, you will contribute to our business, administrative, and fund development efforts. This role provides exposure to the investment management industry, including investment products, marketing, client service, legal and compliance, tax services, and information systems. You will work across various functions and levels of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Complete analytical projects focused on the business, regulatory, and investment oversight of our funds.
- Conduct financial and business analyses for the Board of Directors and other oversight committees.
- Build and maintain relationships across all functions of the organization.
- Support routine fund investor requests with reporting.
- Assist with systems-related initiatives, such as quality-assurance reviews and the development of requirements for new management reporting tools.
- Lead ongoing ad hoc business, product, and finance-oriented projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- An excellent academic record with relevant coursework in finance, economics, or management.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Comfort working in a role driven by deadlines, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
- Prior experience in a financial or client-oriented team is preferred.
