About the role#
The People Analytics team at Wellington Management is looking for a data-driven professional to help deliver insights that allow leaders to plan talent needs and evaluate organizational effectiveness. You will apply technical expertise to build analytical models for strategic workforce planning, talent retention, and employee engagement. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in a real-world HR environment while collaborating with partners across Talent and business teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the People Analytics function by providing reliable monthly and quarterly analytical support.
- Maintain critical dashboards and assist with client and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Lead the prediction and forecasting workstream.
- Propose, test, and validate AI-driven analytical models and technology capabilities.
- Identify research opportunities by mining data to generate practical talent insights.
- Consolidate and migrate reporting dashboards from Tableau to Power BI.
- Perform deep-dive analysis to recommend best practices and drive business success.
- Streamline workflows to optimize business processes and implement technology-enabled innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- Major in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
- Familiarity with data infrastructure concepts such as automation, APIs, data modeling, and data management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and strong project-management skills.
- An enterprising, self-starter attitude with a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for HR systems and using data to drive business impact.
