About the role#
Wellington Management is hiring for a Trade Coordination Co-op to support the Equity Trading Desk. This role is based in Boston and is open exclusively to Northeastern University students. You will assist the Manager of Trade Coordination and engage in cross-training across multiple functions to support trading operations.
What you'll do#
- Confirm and affirm all domestic transactions with brokers on a daily basis.
- Manage trading-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Relay notifications and trading activity calls from brokers to traders.
- Secure stock borrows from securities lending desks for short-sell orders.
- Maintain the broker network and oversee client directed commission programs.
- Produce and analyze daily reports to support trading practices.
- Perform reconciliation and analysis for daily and monthly Research Commissions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- Interest in the finance industry and a commitment to excellence.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous corporate experience is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
