About the role#
The Bond Forward Trade Specialist Co-op joins the Trade Operations team within Investment Operations. This role focuses on supporting the firm's post-execution trade activities. You will gain experience in trading and settlement practices within global financial markets while working with internal teams and external partners.
What you'll do#
- Confirm and instruct cash or security movements related to bond forward trade activity.
- Coordinate with traders, salespeople, back office personnel, broker-dealers, and custodian banks to ensure timely and accurate cash payments and trade settlements.
- Assist with the research and resolution of TBA pairoff activity.
- Conduct a weekly review of physical mail.
- Complete ad hoc project work as assigned.
- Train the incoming co-op at the end of your cycle.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Northeastern University.
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: Paid position ($19-$35 per hour).
