About the role#
As a Project Management intern at Walt Disney Imagineering, you will support the team responsible for the tactical management of projects ranging from small tasks to larger scopes. You will work alongside creative, technical, engineering, and construction teams to help deliver facilities, rides, shows, and systems. This is a full-time, paid internship running from January 2027 to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage the scope of a small project or a specific, self-contained portion of a larger project.
- Assist with scheduling, estimating, and budgeting tasks.
- Collect and verify document change information to help present solutions.
- Prepare and assist in status presentations for management.
- Communicate with project teams, vendors, and consultants through verbal and written correspondence.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience with the project development process, including shop drawings, document control, and punch lists.
- Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and the contract administration process.
- Exposure to hiring outside vendors and professional bid packages.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects like schools, hospitals, or office spaces.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
- Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and maintain relationships with clients.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
