About the role#
The Technology Development Intern will join the LV-MV EFK team to work on semiconductor device performance, reliability, and manufacturing. This position offers hands-on experience in a development environment, focusing on wafer characterization, defect analysis, and yield improvement.
What you'll do#
- Support wafer inspection and defect analysis to identify process and device issues.
- Perform data analysis to improve device yield and manufacturing performance.
- Assist with device characterization and electrical measurements at the wafer level.
- Conduct reliability characterization, including TDDB and WL-UIL measurements.
- Analyze test data and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
- Collaborate with Device, Process Integration, Product, and Reliability Engineering teams.
- Support root-cause investigations and corrective action initiatives.
- Participate in design of experiments and statistical analysis to optimize device performance.
- Document findings and present project updates to the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor devices and fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Python, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Pay: $26.00 to $44.00 per hour, including medical benefits and flexible hours.
