About the role#
This internship at our Hopewell Junction site offers hands-on experience in reliability testing, failure analysis, and silicon characterization. You will work alongside test and reliability engineering teams to support semiconductor product development. This role is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute standard reliability tests using specialized test equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish, optimize, and document reliability test methodologies.
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of test setups and processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report reliability data from product development activities.
- Support failure analysis tasks including device characterization, failure isolation, and imaging techniques.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings to support product qualification.
- Present your project updates and findings to engineering teams at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Academic coursework in semiconductor devices, microelectronics, electronics, or related technical subjects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Interest in semiconductor reliability, device physics, failure analysis, or product engineering.
- Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and data analysis tools.
- Experience working on engineering projects, research, or laboratory assignments.

- Compensation: $26.00 to $44.00 per hour, plus medical benefits.
