About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will join a team in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, to work on embedded software systems for flight controls. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You must be a U.S. Person to qualify for this role.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test safety-critical flight control software.
- Ensure all software meets industry standards, including DO-178C.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable software solutions.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You need to be actively enrolled in your program through the end of the internship.
- You must have completed at least 90 credit hours by the start of the program.
- Experience using C and Python is required.
- You should be able to work well independently and have good communication skills.
