About the role#
The Project Engineering organization at Pratt & Whitney Canada manages the strategic and technical direction of engines across their entire lifecycle. This includes initial proposals, product launch, development, production, and field support. As an intern, you will focus on product development, production, and field support activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project, operations, manufacturing, design engineering, and supply chain.
- Collect and analyze data to support field investigations.
- Assist the Project Engineering lead in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to maintain production flow.
- Manage project tasks such as schedule and budget tracking, milestone monitoring, and stakeholder coordination.
- Prepare and support the creation of reporting materials for senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering at a Canadian university.
- Eligible to work in Canada and able to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical instructions, plans, and drawings.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must complete a criminal background check and obtain clearances for controlled goods.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Paid internship.
