About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within a manufacturing environment at our Longueuil facility. You will support daily operations while gaining experience in team management and process improvement. The position runs from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage employees in a unionized environment by assigning tasks and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Serve as a resource person for your department and apply the rules of the collective agreement.
- Act as an agent of prevention to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules.
- Lead projects related to layout, productivity, and environment to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and deploy strategies to reduce non-quality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Canadian university in Engineering, Human Resources, or Operations and Production Management.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to work on-site.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, Outlook, and One Note.
- Working knowledge of English to read technical documentation and communicate with international partners.
- Assets include experience in manufacturing, Lean principles, SAP software, change management, and strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: 1000 Boulevard Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, Quebec.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 15:00, on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and obtaining necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
