About the role#
We are looking for an HR Programs Student to join our North American Headquarters in Edmonton for the Winter 2027 term. This role supports enterprise HR programs and initiatives focused on team effectiveness, culture, and the overall employee experience. You will gain practical experience by helping deliver services that support our employees and leaders.
What you'll do#
- Lead student program initiatives, including the Student Ambassador Program, Coffee Chats, and the Student Blog.
- Assist with the administration of HR programs through project activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and quality-check program resources, documentation, and communication materials.
- Conduct research and gather information to support HR initiatives and documentation updates.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare materials for HR project management activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program for Human Resources, Business, or Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Ability to follow established processes and complete work accurately while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on grammar and detail.
- A resourceful, proactive approach and a willingness to learn within a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work within deadlines.
