About the role#
This is an off-campus Federal Work Study position for students at DeVry University. You will work with Per Scholas to connect their graduates with IT job opportunities. This role focuses on building relationships with employers and supporting the recruitment of diverse talent.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support.
- Build and manage a pipeline of employers interested in hiring graduates.
- Raise awareness about Per Scholas within the business community.
- Create sustainable connections between employers and graduates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at DeVry or Keller with at least six credits per semester.
- A GPA of 2.0 or higher and good standing as a student.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study funds.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Progress toward a degree in Talent Acquisition, Sales, Human Resources, or Business Development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
- A self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Interest in technology and current industry trends.
- A belief in the mission of providing equitable access to career opportunities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
