About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality organization. You will work with the Program Management Office, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams. This role requires managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Place or support purchase orders of low to medium dollar levels and procurement complexity.
- Manage supplier relationships, development, and performance.
- Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ.
- Analyze quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
- Drive success for key metrics.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management, Finance, Management Information Systems, Economics, or a related business field.
- Actively enrolled through the completion of the internship.
- Minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with supply chain processes and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: Degree focus in Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
- Preferred: Experience in a defense contracting environment.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP or PRISM software.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time remote position. You must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states. You may be expected to travel to a site location as needed or attend select interview steps in person.
