About the role#
This internship focuses on engineering processes and project management within the new product development team. You will work with the PLM team, Siemens, and business stakeholders to improve internal tools and workflows. This position is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements for the Teamcenter environment and NX.
- Design and optimize engineering processes by analyzing data and mapping existing workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose automation opportunities.
- Develop and deliver training materials for new PLM software and processes.
- Test, evaluate, and integrate next-generation PLM technologies.
- Assist in the transition and integration of PLM and CAD systems.
- Coordinate project tasks and act as a liaison between multidisciplinary teams.
- Support internal initiatives and projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year university or master's student in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Interest in the PLM environment and NX software.
- Proactive mindset regarding seeking tasks and contributing to team goals.
- Knowledge of SharePoint is an asset.
- Experience in product design or engineering projects is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: St-Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
- Work modality: Hybrid.
- Duration: 8 months.
- Note: Interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training or work purposes.
