About the role#
The Ground Software team builds and maintains a web-based application that operators use to monitor and control spacecraft constellations. You will work across the full stack, including React, TypeScript, and C# .NET. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to features that impact active missions. You will work alongside experienced engineers who provide mentorship, code reviews, and design guidance.
What you'll do#
- Develop user-facing features using TypeScript and React.
- Translate designs and requirements into clean, readable code.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components.
- Contribute to backend APIs when project work requires it.
- Write unit tests and documentation for internal users and customers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0-1 year of software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with modern React or Angular core principles, such as components, state management, and rendering.
- Experience with Git or other source control tools.
- Familiarity with consuming REST APIs and working with SQL databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and proactively seek guidance when requirements are unclear.
- Experience with strongly typed languages like C# or TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with modern state management tools like TanStack Query is preferred.
- Familiarity with front-end tooling such as Yarn, Babel, or Material-UI is preferred.

- Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 4 days per week in the office.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
