About the role#
As a Business & Data Analyst intern, you will contribute to data analysis that supports strategic decision-making and operational improvements. You will use advanced analytical tools and automation platforms to optimize data management processes throughout the winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collect and document business requirements.
- Identify process inefficiencies, map workflows, and suggest automation solutions.
- Analyze performance metrics and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Build interactive reports and automate processes using the Microsoft Power Platform suite.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of ETL pipelines and data management workflows.
- Work with internal teams to integrate APIs and use Databricks for data processing.
- Improve the UI/UX design of dashboards and reports.
- Create clear documentation and train users on new implementations while gathering feedback.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Pursuit of a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with ETL pipelines, data management, and API integration.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design for dashboards and Agile methodologies.
- Functional knowledge of English to review technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Longueuil, Quebec.
- Work is performed exclusively on-site from Monday to Friday.
- Internship dates are January 5, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
- Candidates must pass a background check and obtain necessary authorizations for handling controlled goods.
