About the role#
onsemi is seeking an engineering student to join the 300mm Post Fab team in East Fishkill, New York. You will work within a Module Engineering team to support manufacturing performance, quality, and cost objectives as the company develops new products and ramps volume production.
What you'll do#
- Collect data and improve the performance of equipment and processes in the manufacturing facility.
- Develop new processes or controls.
- Evaluate and qualify new materials, processes, and equipment for Post Fab wafer operations.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and device performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Practice clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
- Standing as a rising Junior or Senior student.

- Location: East Fishkill, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: $26.00 to $44.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
