    About the role#

    onsemi is seeking an engineering student to join the 300mm Post Fab team in East Fishkill, New York. You will work within a Module Engineering team to support manufacturing performance, quality, and cost objectives as the company develops new products and ramps volume production.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect data and improve the performance of equipment and processes in the manufacturing facility.
    • Develop new processes or controls.
    • Evaluate and qualify new materials, processes, and equipment for Post Fab wafer operations.
    • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and device performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Practice clear communication.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
    • Standing as a rising Junior or Senior student.

    • Location: East Fishkill, New York.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Status: Full-time, on-site internship.
    • Compensation: $26.00 to $44.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
