About the role#
We are hiring a Software Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, hybrid position based in San Francisco, California. You will work on projects within our Pipeline department to improve our autonomous driving technology.
What you'll do#
- Analyze the differences between machine learning and production behavior.
- Perform cluster analysis on large sets of examples to identify trends.
- Evaluate whether these clusters show desirable or undesirable behavior.
- Port successful behaviors from machine learning models into our production systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Data fluency.
- Experience with robotics or machine learning is preferred.

- Compensation: $60 per hour for Bachelor's students and $70 per hour for Master's students.
