About the role#
Ramp is looking for Android interns to join our engineering team for 12 or 16 weeks. You will work with experienced engineers to build features and contribute to our mobile codebase. We look for individuals who take ownership of projects from inception to production and want to help build a vibrant engineering community.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship new features for the Ramp Android app.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to bring new experiences to life.
- Work alongside experienced engineers to contribute to our mobile codebase.
- Learn from customer feedback to improve our product.
- Contribute to engineering tools and processes that help the team scale.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Experience with Kotlin and Android development through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Strong programming fundamentals and an understanding of mobile development concepts.
- Experience building a mobile app or a relevant project.
- Ability to turn product ideas into engineering solutions.
- A desire to learn quickly and take ownership of your work.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, familiarity with mobile design patterns, and experience shipping apps to real users are preferred.

- Compensation: $12,500 per month plus a housing stipend.
